Frequently Asked Questions

How do I consign?

Email us at [email protected] with pictures of the items you want to consign.  Please include any relevant details we should know (brand, size).  Should any of your items meet our current stock requirements we will send you the consignment agreement and set up a drop off time.


How much of the sale do I get?

We split all sales 50/50 with the consignor.


How long will you keep my item listed for?

We hold onto items for up to 45 days. At that point if it isn’t sold you will be contacted and you will have 1 week to pick up your item, otherwise we will donate it on your behalf.  At this time donations are sent to Adele & Martin, an online shop that serves homeless and at-risk youth across Lanark County.


Will my items go on sale?

We reserve the right to offer promotions to our clients at our discretion.


When and how do I get paid if my item sells?

Payouts of over $5 are made at the end of each month via e-transfer.


How do I shop?

At this time all items can be purchased via our Instagram page, peppermintconsignment.  When shopping via Instagram you can send us a message with the item you want or reply to the insta story of the item you want to purchase.  Payment can be made via e-transfer or PayPal.  You can also email us at [email protected] should you wish to purchase an item.


How do I get my item?

Flexible pick up options are available in Arlington Woods & Hintonburg.  Arrangements will be made upon purchase.  $4 delivery is also currently available within the city of Ottawa should a contactless drop-off be possible.  Delivery outside the city limits, as determined by Peppermint Consignment, is available for $5.


How quickly do I need to pick up my item?

As we are an online only shop, our storage space is limited.  All purchased items must be picked up within 7 days otherwise we will re-post the item and you forfeit your payment.


Can exceptions be made to pick up options?

Yes, in some situations they can be, you can email us at [email protected]


Can I return or exchange my item?

Due to the nature of our business all sales are final.


Do you offer shipping?

Shipping within Canada is available for $14 (subject to change dependent on the item).  $10 shipping is available with the purchase of 2 or more items.


Do you have gift cards?

Yes! Gift cards can be purchased upon request, email us at [email protected]
